In my country, religious ceremonies are often something like mourning, and for me, it is not the mourning itself but the customs coming with it; the choices of colors and how people believe in the rituals are interesting and yet, full of surprises. What I was looking for in this series was to record the moods and souls of people alone in the crowd. Those people, each of whom was a figurative sculpture in the purest and deepest way possible in my eyes.
