The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was signed between Iran, the European Union, and the P5+1 group in line with the comprehensive agreement on Iran's nuclear program, following the Lausanne nuclear agreement on July 14, 2015, in Vienna, Austria. People in Tehran gathered in some of the main squares of the city to celebrate the event.
