On January 19, 2017, a devastating fire erupted on the ninth floor of Tehran's iconic Plasco building, leading to its complete collapse within three hours. Amid the chaos, a significant number of firefighters bravely fought the flames both inside and outside the structure. Unfortunately, sixteen of them became trapped beneath the rubble after the sudden collapse. I witnessed the events from the beginning, holding onto hope for their survival. Regrettably, after nine days, it became evident that none had survived. This collection reflects on those days of fear and hope, capturing the poignant events and honoring the firefighters who sacrificed their lives for others.
